With so many people, there has to be something keeping the people around. While Saigon has an amazing night life, there is also a lot to do and see during the day. Here are the top 10 things to do in Saigon.
History Museum: Known as the museum of Vietnamese history this museum features collections from 300,000 years ago when the area was first settled. The museum is nearly 100 years old and is located in the zoo and botanical gardens. Check out the buddha statue with 1,000 eyes and 1,000 arms.
Reunification Palace: This architectural masterpiece is an amazing site that has a variety of tunnels, rooms, halls and chambers. The palace has been untouched for nearly 40 years and is in excellent shape.
Mekong Delta: This scenic spot is a drive away from the city. Journey through the Mekong Delta along the narrow tree-lined canals on a board. This is a very unique experience that is unmatched anywhere else in Vietnam.
Cu Chi Tunnels: These tunnels were used by the Viet Cong army to control the area in their fight for independence. People lived in the tunnels to hide out for years. A few of the tunnels have been increased in size so the larger western people can crawl through them.
Notre Dame Cathedral: Completed in the late 19th century this cathedral has two large bell towers. Along the front of the cathedral is a statue of the Virgin Mary. Come and enjoy a service in the cathedral.

War Remnants Museum: This museum is very controversial to some and offers some of the horrors from the Vietnam conflict. Some historians will question the displays in the museum, but they are a can't miss when in Saigon.
